Edvantage group acquires Open Training

Consolidation of the E-learning Industry

Edvantage Group acquires Open Training Svenska AB and becomes the clear leading provider of e-learning in the Nordic countries. Open Training will change name to Edvantage group.

Claes Ytander, previously CEO of Open Training, is appointed Managing Director for Edvantage group in Sweden. With approximately 20 experienced consultants in Sweden the combined companies will be better able to serve customers and provide solutions that meet the continuously increasing demands on for customised e-learning programs, support and solutions.

Edvantage group and Open Training, until now fully-owned by Futuremedia plc. (UK), provides products, services and learning solutions to organisations in the Nordics, Benelux and UK. As a result of this acquisition Edvantage group becomes even stronger in the Swedish market with offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
