Edvantage group announces the release of CourseBuilder 4.0

Edvantage group, an e-learning pioneer and solution provider, announces today the release of CourseBuilder 4.0. The new version makes it faster and easier for organisations to create and update quality e-learning courses.

Significant improvements to the user interface to make it more intuitive and reduce development time. Other key enhancements include improved flexibility, more advanced media-handling capabilities, and additional support for team collaboration. Combined, these improvements reinforce CourseBuilder’s position as one of the most powerful e-learning authoring tools on the market.

These latest enhancements to CourseBuilder are based on customer feedback, and the experiences of Edvantage group’s own bespoke production team who use CourseBuilder to create tailor-made e-learning courses. "We work closely with course authors from numerous organisations, in addition to creating courses for clients using our own in-house production team," says Sven-Ove Sjølyst, Project Director, Edvantage group. "This gives us a unique ability to identify ways that developing, packaging and managing courses can be done easier and more effectively - all the time keeping the end-result in focus - to provide an engaging and effective e-learning experience."

"Such a powerful tool normally takes time to learn," says Kjersti Myhren, Training Consultant, Storebrand. "With the enhancements in the new version of CourseBuilder however, creating quality on-line training courses is easier than ever before."

Highlights and key features in CourseBuilder 4.0

  • more flexible, user-friendly interface for faster, simpler navigation and course creation
  • support for multiple media elements on all pages to improve the learning experience
  • more opportunities to combine text, sound and graphics to provide immediate performance feedback

Edvantage group gives customers more choice for e-learning courses

"The last year has seen a significant increase in the demand for self-authoring tools," says Thomas Berglund, CEO Edvantage group. "Customers want to be able to choose the way e-learning courses are developed. Some prefer to create their own content, while others want to outsource all course production. With Edvantage group, customers have this choice - we source the best off-the-shelf content, create tailor-made courses, or provide a self-authoring tool. This new release of CourseBuilder 4.0 demonstrates our commitment to providing a complete range of solutions for the customer based on the best technology and expertise available."

All existing CourseBuilder customers will automatically receive CourseBuilder 4.0. Updates will be available from normal business hours March 26, 2007.
