Oslo, March 12, 2008 - Edvantage group, a pioneer in e-learning solutions, has been awarded a Gold and Silver by the Media
Communication Association, Denmark, for two bespoke e-learning programmes. At a ceremony held at on March 9th, 2008 at the
Empire Bio, Copenhagen, Edvantage group took a clean sweep of awards in the category Corporate Communication/Multimedia/ Education.
This is the fourth year in a row that Edvantage group and Zenaria (now part of Edvantage group) has been a winner.
Edvantage group received the Gold award for its online e-learning course “Teknik på 5 Minutter,” produced for Fakta, the second largest retail discount-brand in Denmark. The course was designed to give employees “in just 5 minutes” the technical knowledge they need for operating systems and equipment in the stores and the motivation they need to ensure a good customer experience. While this type of course may sometimes be perceived as a lecture that no one wants to hear, the awarding judges noted that the this course overcame the challenge with a sense of style and humour ideally suited to the target audience.
The Silver medal was awarded to Edvantage group for a highly interactive, scenario-based e-learning programme called “Dealing with Dilemmas,” which was made as part of a leadership training program for StatoilHydro. The awarding judges said that “the programme started right away with a quick and entertaining host that got us glued to the screen.” The programme was also credited with using high quality video clips and visual examples to illustrate different dilemmas that leaders must manage and overcome.
