Aurum

Aurum is the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK which now includes Watches of Switzerland, Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths brands within its portfolio.

The training department was increasingly concerned about the high cost of rolling out their induction training to an ever changing workforce which was geographically spread across the UK. Aurum also wanted to find a way to quickly make new employees feel confident by investing in them at an early stage and supporting them which should help to improve the attrition rate within the early stages of their employment.

Insolvency Service

The Insolvency Service operates under a statutory framework - mainly the Insolvency Acts 1986 and Enterprise Act 2004 plus the Company Directors Disqualifications Act 1986.

They wanted to ensure that its future delivery of training was a cost effective and accessible as possible. In particular it was looking to move towards a more blended learning approach and use e-learning to support that approach.

HBOS

HBOS is the UK's largest mortgage provider. Edvantage group has provided the company with a Learning Management System, over 800 off -the-shelf courses and customised e-learning content.

Provident Financial

Provident Financial plc is an international financial services group. One division which specialises in home credit, wanted to move away from a paper based process and exploit the benefits of mobile technology. Such a radical change meant training for 13,000 agents who were, by their very nature, geographically spread, which is where Edvantage group came in.

Saab

Saab AB is active in more than 50 countries and sells around 125,000 cars per year. Edvantage group were tasked to help solve the problem of keeping remote sales and support staff up to date as soon as a vehicle models changes.

The solution, was to produce bespoke e-learning courses for the sales team, customer service and service engineers, for the Saab 9-3  Cabriolet and 1.9 diesel models (released in 2003 and 2004). This project involved translating the content into 14 different languages, which was deployed internationaly.
