'My Space' for more effective learning

The ‘My Space’ feature gives learners a personalised roadmap, helping them to access the right resources at the right time.  Here learners can: 

• read news
• monitor progress
• access resources
• rate courses
• schedule activities
• manage personal details
• print certificates

Users can access a wide range of resources to accelerate learning on a specific topic to help gain a deeper level of understanding.  Examples include:

• accessing pre-classroom training reading assignments
• watching educational videos
  
• reading related web-pages 

All types of documents and files, and even most web-applications can be added as Learning Resources.

 

‘My Learning’ provides specific information that motivates learners, increases engagement and saves time. Learners can quickly see what courses are mandatory, suggested, currently in progress, and available so they can prioritise activities and start learning right where they left off.  A list of achievements is also available so they can see their progression.

Reduce administration time
Registering and managing a large number of users and courses is just one of Learning Gateway's strengths. Users can be registered, batch  uploaded or self-registered. Single sign-on provides a seamless experience for users. Users can change their password, request a new one and update their own profiles. Administrator roles and levels are predefined or customised. This allows a balance between central control and flexibility.

Uploading and managing content in Learning Gateway is fast and effective. Learning Gateway is ‘vendor neutral’, supporting content from 3rd party content providers and a wide range of authoring tools. One click publishing and PENS support makes updating courses easy.

Targeted programmes for specific groups of learners are essential for aligning learning directly to your business goals. Content can be grouped into easy to edit bundles which are then added to specific groups of learners.

Access to e-learning content can be controlled and defined in several ways. Courses can be mandatory and have a completion deadline. They can also be bundled in a flexible or strict Learning Path. Upon successful completion of a Learning Path, the learners can print out certificates.

Course evaluations can be created for both classroom learning and e-learning , providing you with valuable feedback about the effectiveness of your courses. Detailed reports are available in several formats for individual and aggregated tracking information. Each report has filters and grouping parameters to increase report relevancy.
