Stamford, UK - 21 October 2009 – Edvantage group, an e-learning company, has launched a Managed Learning Services e-learning programme for the world’s leading
engineering software provider, AVEVA.
AVEVA have implemented Learning Gateway, Edvantage group’s SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) based Learning Management System,
which offers selected SkillSoft and Microsoft courses to meet identified needs across the business for all 800 employees.
AVEVA are also using Learning Gateway to host their existing Microsoft Software Assurance server and application e-learning
credits as part of the main catalogue, which are now easily accessible for employees.
With the implementation of ‘AVEVA e-learning’ more training opportunities are being provided for everyone across the group.
By using one provider, Edvantage group, AVEVA are able to realise the potential of their existing investment in Microsoft
training and offer a wide range of learning that would otherwise prove a challenge to deliver to a global audience, many of
which need to learn ‘on the move’.

As part of the next phase AVEVA are creating induction training which will be a mixture of bespoke modules created in-house
using the content authoring tool, CourseBuilder, plus generic e-learning bought through Edvantage group’s brokerage service
to complement the face-to-face sessions, all of which will be managed through Learning Gateway, providing one port of call
for all users.
