Oslo, August 26, 2008 - Edvantage group, an e-learning company and Managed Learning Services provider, announces that they
have been selected by Opera Software, developers of the Opera Web Browser, to help the company develop company-wide competence,
creativity, culture and communications. Edvantage group will support Opera with modern, interactive e-learning tools for management
training and leadership development.

Edvantage group guided Opera through the world of online learning content. Through Edvantage group’s network of content providers, Opera found the leadership development programmes that matched their specific needs and style. Opera chose two courses from Harvard Business School Publishing: Stepping up to Management, for potential and new managers; and, Developing as a Leader, for experienced managers. Opera managers will be able to drill down into key topics, and use a variety of learning methods. They will also have access to a large selection of practical guides, tools, downloads and exercises that help them address over 30 daily management situations. There are longer modules for in-depth learning and shorter clips for building specific skills.
Edvantage group will host and manage the content on the Learning Gateway, Learning Management System, making is easy for Opera to deliver and manage e-learning and classroom training for their employees worldwide. “Not surprisingly, we have a lot of technology enthusiasts and experts in our company who were involved in deciding what Learning Management System we should choose,” says Selnes. “We selected the Learning Gateway because of its solid design, scalability and features. Since it is hosted, we don’t have to tie up our internal resources doing implementation or testing. Edvantage group worked alongside us to make sure that the Learning Gateway met our infrastructure requirements for Linux, Mac OS X and Unix.”
