Background
Provident Financial plc is an international financial services group specialising in home
credit through a network of local agents. In 2006 they embarked on a fundamental business transformation programme to create a paperless environment for their 13,000 agents located throughout the UK and Ireland.Before the e-learning programme explaining the new processes could be rolled out it was vital to introduce the workforce to CBT (Computer Based Training) as they generally had little or no experience of it.
Solution
This module was designed to explain how to use the CBT training in simple terms. Our development team created it using CourseBuilder and added a range of interactions. Part of the brief was that the course had to work flawlessly with Provident's own LMS (Learning Management System), which it did. Using this,they have been able to track the course's usage and the feedback so far has been very positive with very few problems once people move onto the more complex modules.
