Oslo, Norway - 23 September 2009 – Edvantage group, an e-learning company and Managed Learning Service provider, in partnership with Greenbook Digital Publishing AS, a Norwegian digital publishing house, has released their first digital Multi-book which has been well received by both students and teachers.
The first book released by the all-digital publisher, Greenbook, is for use by students studying Science. By using video, animation, sound and various different exercises the Multi-books will enhance learning and make it more enjoyable for students. Mutli-books are also unique in that the student does not have to be online to access the information.
The feedback so far, from students and teachers, has been fantastic. The students like that they get access to lots of interactive
exercises, and receive feedback from the exercises quickly, and also the ability to highlight and make notes in the book and
print the pages they want.
“We are proud to have been part of the development process for the groundbreaking Multi-books with Greenbook. Our expertise
and over 10 years experience in interactive training has given the books the quality that is needed to assert itself in the
market," says Thomas Berglund, Chief Executive, Edvantage group.
“It’s been great to share and use our expertise with Greenbooks’ publisher and textbook authors. Our Learning Designers and
Course Developers know a lot about how to give students a good experience when learning in front of your PC, and also how
to avoid the pitfalls that can exist in the development of digital training solutions, "says Berglund.
In the coming years Edvantage group and Greenbook Digital publishing are planning to produce a variety of digital books for High School and University level students. The feedback so far suggests that it has struck right home with the solution, which entails a textbook with integrated animations and exercises for students.
"We strongly believe that the multi-books will be a success. In the future we will make the books even more exciting, "says Knut Solbakken, Production Manager Edvantage group, Norway.
